About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Business Development Leader to join our team at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO). As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting strategy realization and annual planning activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnering with Senior Management: Collaborate with senior management to provide consultative support for the initiation and execution of key initiatives, including business case development, governance reviews, project delivery, and recovery of troubled initiatives.
  • Quarterly Reporting: Lead the quarterly reporting process for the Management Reporting Package (MRP), collecting inputs from stakeholders, ensuring data quality, synthesizing key messages, and identifying areas of attention for senior management.
  • Enhancing Quarterly MRP: Oversee the enhancement of the quarterly MRP to improve timelines, information quality, relevance, and business insights informing senior management decision-making.
  • KPIs and OKRs: Support the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) underpinning IMCO's corporate strategy and annual plans.
  • Tier 2 and 3 Projects: Lead the quarterly reporting process for Tier 2 and 3 projects, assessing information submitted by project leads, developing dashboards, and maintaining the Management Operating Committee (MOC) SharePoint site.
  • MOC Support: Assist the MOC with strategy and annual plan execution through meeting administration, facilitation, and maintenance of the MOC SharePoint site.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in managing projects, monitoring business performance, business planning, and strategy development and execution, ideally in the financial services, asset management, or pension industry.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
