Job Summary

YG Truck And TOW is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and driving trucks to transport goods, addressing customer concerns, and performing routine vehicle inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Operate and drive trucks to transport goods, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Customer Service: Address customer concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections, including tire checks, brake adjustments, and emergency repairs.
  • Logistics Coordination: Communicate with central dispatch, record cargo details, and maintain accurate service hours and fuel use records.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Defensive Driving Course, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), First Aid Certificate, and Professional Driver Improvement Certificate.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Accurate handling of bills of lading, driver logbook maintenance, inspection report management, maintenance and repair record keeping, and trip reporting.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, bondability, criminal record verification, driver's license validity check, driving record examination, drug testing, and medical examination.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, handling a large workload, physically demanding tasks, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Being organized, reliable, team-oriented, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

As a Truck Driver at YG Truck And TOW, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work 30 to 35 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
