Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer, Buildings

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at WSP Canada. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial and institutional buildings, as well as industrial complexes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to lead the design of mechanical systems
  • Develop and implement new technologies to meet clients' objectives
  • Manage project financial reviews, including maintaining budgets and meeting deliverable milestones
  • Participate in client management, business development, and proposal preparation activities

Requirements:

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Currently registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA or other Canadian Province or Territory
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel
  • Proven working knowledge with Revit
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards, including the National Building Code, ASHRAE, and NFPA
