Business Development Student

Are you looking for a meaningful student experience working alongside industry-leading professionals? You will be part of a driven, collaborative team completing important projects while receiving mentorship, knowledge, and experience to develop the skills you need to build an exciting career.
This student position is with our Leadership and Employee Development Team. In this role, you will gain awareness of the basic Cenovus organization, its inner workings, and the core process of Employee and leadership Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Leadership & Employee Development goals and initiatives.
- Complete employee position descriptions.
- Gather and compile data to assess the viability of AI for future department initiatives/projects.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term.
- Available to begin work in May 2025.
- Develops Talent, Communicates with Impact, Fosters Collaboration & Enhances Technical/Professional Expertise.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite is considered an asset.
Education
- Must be enrolled in a Business Program (HR preferred) at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
- Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.
- New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
