Job Title: Senior Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Clerk to join our team at Express Welding Supplies Inc. in a full-time permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing general ledger, journal entries, and managing accounts receivable and payable. They will also be responsible for preparing trial balance, opening and closing books for auditors, and preparing bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare general ledger and journal entries
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Prepare trial balance
  • Open and close books for auditors
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Review accounts for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
