About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at Reliance Accounting & Tax Services. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and clients, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Access and Quick Books.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
