Alstom is a leading company in the mobility sector, and we are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as an Aftermarket Parts Engineering Manager.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for effectively communicating with upper management, presenting KPIs, and leading the design, verification, and validation of parts solutions for over 300 contracts.

You will actively participate in the aggressive growth of the Parts & Components business and reduce the backlog. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all parts proposals meet customer specifications in terms of form, fit, and function, as well as railway safety, reliability, and industrial norms and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading bids proposals to repair, redesign, and overhaul electrical equipment, printed circuit boards, and other electrical and electronics parts used in the rail industry.
  • Leading process improvement initiatives to optimize workflow for engineering requests and time to quote.
  • Interface with end customers via meetings, travel to site, and presentations.
  • Maintaining the group's knowledge of rail, mechanical, and electrical-electronic norms and standards.

Requirements include:

  • Excellent communication skills and leadership experience.
  • More than 10 years of experience in rail industry standards and design or similar industry products.
  • More than 5 years of experience in aftermarket, reverse engineering, and/or repair.

Preferred qualifications include project management experience, knowledge of safety management systems, and proficiency in mechanical and electrical/electronic design tools.
