Job Title: Child & Youth Care Worker - Continuing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Child and Youth Care Worker to join our team in providing support to students with social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group support to students with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement behavior plans to promote positive behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to ensure student success
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent
  • Child and Youth Care Diploma or Associate Degree
  • Minimum 2 years supervised experience working with children and youth
  • Valid B.C. Driver's License and safe driving record
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
