Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Child and Youth Care Worker to join our team in providing support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to support students
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements
  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent
  • Child and Youth Care Diploma or Associate Degree
  • Minimum 2 years supervised experience working with children and youth
  • Valid B.C. Driver's License and safe driving record
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be assigned to various schools throughout the District. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality support to students.
