Carpenter - Construction and Renovation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at AAREAL STAR DEVELOPMENT INC. As a key member of our construction and renovation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and attention to detail in all aspects of building and repair projects.
Key Responsibilities- Estimation and Planning: Prepare accurate estimates of labour and material costs for construction and renovation projects.
- Site Preparation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and prepare layouts in accordance with building codes.
- Construction and Repair: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Project Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, supervise other workers, and estimate costs and materials for projects.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in noisy, and dusty environments.
- Work Setting: Construction and renovation projects in various settings.
- Level of Expertise: Maintenance and repair of buildings and structures.
- Supervision: Supervise 3-4 people.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
