SARVIN CONSTRUCTION INC is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Construction and Renovation: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Installation and Maintenance: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware. Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures.
- Equipment and Machinery: Operate hand tools and ensure proper use of safety equipment, including steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy, dusty, and outdoors environments.
- Work Setting: Willingness to relocate and work in various locations, including construction sites, residential areas, and commercial establishments.
- Accurate: Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Client Focus: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with clients.
- Reliability: Ability to work reliably and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Hours of Work: 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
