SARVIN CONSTRUCTION INC is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Construction and Renovation: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Installation and Maintenance: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Repair and Renovation: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
- Education and Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent education.
- Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
- Work Setting: Willingness to relocate and work in various locations, including construction sites and commercial settings.
- Equipment and Machinery: Proficiency in using hand tools and ability to wear steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and strong values and ethics.
- Permanent Employment: A permanent position with a reputable company.
- Language of Work: English.
- Working Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
