Job Summary

Budget Insulation & Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to ensure a smooth and even surface. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and finish drywall to ensure a smooth and even surface
  • Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to meet specifications
  • Apply joint compound to seams and corners, and sand to a smooth finish
  • Install metal studs and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in a physically demanding environment
Work Environment

This is a commercial and residential drywall installation and finishing position. You will be working in a variety of locations, including construction sites and offices. The work environment is dusty and outdoors, and you will be required to work at heights and in a physically demanding environment.
