Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Petro Canada. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Direct and control daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, manage staff and assign duties.
- Merchandise and Services: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales, determine merchandise and services to be sold, implement price and credits policies.
- Marketing and Sales: Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale, develop and implement marketing strategies, determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, sitting.
- Support for Employees: Provides physical accessibility accommodations, provides visual accessibility accommodations, provides auditory accessibility accommodations.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youth: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment, offers on-the-job training tailored to youth, offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
- Support for Veterans: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans, offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Veterans, provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
Requirements: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, experience an asset.
Language: English.
Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
