Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Petro Canada. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail sales associates and ensuring the overall success of the store.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and control daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- Plan and organize daily store activities, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Manage store staff, including recruiting, hiring, and supervising employees.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and sales opportunities.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement pricing and credit policies.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines and heavy loads.
- Work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Stand for long periods and handle heavy loads.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic retail environment.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.
- Efficient and effective in managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Provide physical accessibility accommodations, such as ramps and elevators.
- Provide visual accessibility accommodations, such as braille and screen readers.
- Provide auditory accessibility accommodations, such as transcription software and teletypewriters.
- Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
- Assist with immediate settlement needs, such as housing and transportation.
- Support social and labour market integration, such as language training and skills training.
- Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
- Offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities for youth.
- Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans.
- Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Veterans.
