At Southlake Regional Health Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Office Coordinator to provide administrative support to our Director of Medical Administration and Academic Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the Director and other senior leaders
  • Manage schedules, correspondence, and workflow to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes
  • Assist with special projects and provide support to the organization's educational development
  • Maintain electronic databases and assist with annual reappointment processes

Requirements:

  • Medical Administration diploma or related discipline from a recognized Community College
  • 3-5 years of recent secretarial or assistant experience at a senior level or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe, and database applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a well-developed customer service focus
  • Proven organizational abilities, using self-direction and sound judgment to prioritize workload and coordinate multiple demands and deadlines
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues and information in a professional manner
