Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef - Food Operations Manager to join our team at Brown's Socialhouse Eagle Landing. This is a dynamic opportunity for a talented culinary professional to oversee food operations and lead our kitchen team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal profitability and minimize waste.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and introduce cutting-edge kitchen equipment to enhance the culinary experience for our guests.
  • Serve as a mentor and trainer, instructing cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes to maintain exceptional quality standards.
  • Supervise and guide kitchen staff, providing constructive feedback and coaching to promote growth and excellence.
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods to meet the demands of our menu and cater to customer preferences.
  • Source high-quality ingredients and kitchen supplies to maintain consistency and freshness in our dishes.
  • Collaborate with clients to tailor menus for weddings, banquets, and special events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training and guidance on food preparation, cooking, and handling procedures to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage with clients, staff, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food safety protocols, inventory management, and cost control strategies.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
