Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team at Delta Drywall Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall sheets in various locations, including industrial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even finish
  • Fill joints and nail indentations with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. They will be required to work at heights, in dusty conditions, and outdoors.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
