Job Title: Building Automation Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Technician to join our team at Dexterra Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and commissioning computerized automated building controls (HVAC) systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute projects in the construction or building automation industry with sound knowledge of building automation systems and the construction environment.
  • Work on the maintenance or installation of VCI Controls systems at various sites, requiring government security clearance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience in executing projects in the construction or building automation industry.
  • Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Automation Technologies diploma or, minimum of 1-2 years' experience in automation and/or HVAC.
  • PC/Computer Literate.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Superior time management and organization skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and have own transportation.
  • Personal Suitability.
  • Judgment & decision-making.
  • Planning & organizing.
  • Problem analysis & problem solving.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excels in collaborative work environment.
  • Seeks long term development growth within company.
