About the Role

VON Canada is currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. As a respected healthcare provider, we prioritize delivering high-quality patient care and strive to foster a supportive work environment for our professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, promoting independence and self-management of their health conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans that meet each patient's unique needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, documenting observations and findings to inform care decisions and ensure continuity of care.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid are required; additional specialized training may be beneficial.
