About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cellular Telephone Technician to join our team at Everything Wireless. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing wireless communication systems and telecommunications equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance
    • Install and arrange telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware
    • Inspect and test operation of telecommunications equipment
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wireless communication systems
  • Troubleshooting and Repair
    • Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment
    • Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults
    • Complete and maintain test and service reports
  • Technical Expertise
    • Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment
    • Initiate the dispatch of appropriate repair personnel
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Combine sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
    • Manual dexterity required

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field
