Job Title: Cellular Telephone Technician

Wipro Comnet Inc. is seeking a skilled Cellular Telephone Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Test Cable Signals: Ensure the integrity of cable signals and associated equipment.
  • Repair Cable Signals: Troubleshoot and repair cable signal issues.
  • Diagnose and Locate Equipment Faults: Identify and resolve equipment faults in telecommunications systems.
  • Install, Arrange, Remove and Maintain Telephone Equipment: Install, configure, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Repair or Replace Defective Telephone Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair or replace defective telephone equipment.
  • Analyze Test Results and Adjust, Change or Repair Switching System, Network, Associated Equipment and Software: Analyze test results and make necessary adjustments to switching systems, networks, and associated equipment and software.
  • Complete and Maintain Test and Service Reports: Document and maintain test and service reports.
  • Determine Nature, Cause and Location of Trouble: Identify the source and location of equipment faults.
  • Initiate the Dispatch of Appropriate Repair Personnel: Coordinate repair efforts with other teams.
  • Climb and Work Aloft on Poles, Ladders or Other Support Structures: Work at heights to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment.
  • Maintain and Repair Aerial and Underground Transmission Systems: Ensure the integrity of aerial and underground transmission systems.
  • Repair or Replace Faulty Cables, Power Suppliers and Amplifiers: Troubleshoot and repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.

Work Environment: This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek.
