We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team at Teledyne FLIR. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic hardware systems, including circuit boards, microcontrollers, and other components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware systems with software and other components
  • Test and validate hardware systems to ensure they meet specifications and requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, datasheets, and test plans
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware design and development
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, microcontrollers, and embedded systems
  • Experience with design simulation tools, such as SPICE or Cadence
  • Knowledge of PCB design and layout tools, such as Altium or Eagle
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Focused, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with high-speed interfaces, such as PCIe or USB3.1
  • Knowledge of SMT assembly process and rework techniques

Salary Range:

$72,200.00-$96,300.00

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors, including location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
