BC Soccer is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, dynamic, strategic thinker, and proactive professional for the position of Sporting Director. This role provides leadership for planning, execution, and evaluation of soccer activities, services, and programs in BC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Technical Development Strategy in BC
  • Oversee Player, Coach, and Match Official Development Program and Services
  • Support Club Operational Development and Enhancement
  • Actively engage in contract management
  • Performance Monitoring of employees and supporting staff
  • Effective budget management
  • Foster a strong culture aligned to BC Soccer's purpose and values
  • Lead and provide guidance to member teams, clubs, leagues, and districts throughout BC
  • Chair the BC Soccer, Soccer Development Committee
  • Liaise with partners and external contractors to actively support fulfillment of technical goals and operational priorities
Requirements:
  • Actively contribute and work toward objectives as outlined in the strategic direction and operational plans of the Association
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
