Position Overview


BC Soccer is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, dynamic, strategic thinker, and proactive professional for the position of Sporting Director. This role provides leadership for planning, execution, and evaluation of soccer activities, services, and programs in BC.


Key Responsibilities


The Sporting Director will lead effective execution of BC Soccer's technical development strategy, including all activities related to technical development. This includes direct supervision of talent identification systems, design and implementation of programs and services, and meaningful engagement of partners and stakeholders to enhance capacity building across all levels.


Requirements


The ideal candidate will actively contribute to and work toward objectives as outlined in the strategic direction and operational plans of the Association. The candidate will also lead technical development strategy in BC, oversee player, coach, and match official development programs and services, and support club operational development and enhancement.


What We Offer


The position will include full benefits and a competitive compensation package ranging between $95,000 to $100,000 annually based on experience for a role of this nature.
