Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Get Go Transportation Inc. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload goods, ensuring safe and secure transportation
- Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Will train
