Job Title: Dispatch Logistian

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Logistian to join our team at Wheel King Transhaul Inc.

Job Summary:

The Dispatch Logistian will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and supplies between departments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize and coordinate logistics operations
  • Plan and organize the operational logistics of the organization, including transportation and inventory management
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Prepare and submit reports on logistics operations, including metrics on efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and logs of logistics operations
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry and communication with stakeholders
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Keep track of shipments and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and filed
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, as well as highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary supplies and materials are available when needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of logistics software and systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
