Job Title: Web Technician

We are seeking a skilled Web Technician to join our team at Six Side Logistics. As a Web Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating and installing computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software. You will also provide problem-solving services to network users, perform routine network start-up and close-down, and maintain control records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
  • Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts
  • Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines
  • Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
Work Environment:

As a Web Technician at Six Side Logistics, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 hours per week
