Job Summary

Vitalité Health Network is seeking a skilled Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with psychiatric needs to develop and maintain their autonomy, in accordance with the interdisciplinary intervention plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and support clients with psychiatric needs to develop and maintain their autonomy
  • Implement treatment and rehabilitation programs to promote continuity of care
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Provide support to therapeutic groups and facilitate educational groups
  • Organize work to promote continuity of care for assigned clients
Requirements
  • High school diploma plus an additional program or course of over six months and up to one year in community integration or the equivalent
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced non-violent crisis intervention training (CPI) or a commitment to take this training within set schedule
  • Prevention and Management of Suicidal Behaviour training or a commitment to take this training within set schedule
  • Good judgment and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work
  • Good work history (performance and attendance)
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network
