Accounting Manager

Warkentin Investments Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Accountant-Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to optimize financial performance.
- Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures to ensure efficient financial management.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax returns from accounting records.
- Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices to enhance financial performance.
- Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee payroll administration, financial record-keeping, and account management.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on financial management and control.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, procedures, and internal control.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English language.
