The RoleWe are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team, providing an entry-level opportunity for those interested in exploring the field of healthcare. This position emphasizes excellent customer service skills, teamwork, and ongoing development. Compensation: $20-$25 per hour, with additional earning potential and career advancement.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Proper registration of patients administratively, including reception, scheduling, and collecting payments.
- Preparation of patients clinically, hosting them into the exam room and performing triage.
- Application of scripts, scenarios, and clinical skills as required.
- Usage of our Electronic Medical Record system (EMR Advantage).
- Ensuring consistent inventory levels through daily stocking of exam rooms and other areas of the clinic.
- Maintaining a clean and quiet environment by cleaning and sanitizing exam rooms, foyers, and bathrooms.
- Opening and/or closing procedures of the clinic.
- Record and document management, as well as administrative duties assigned.
- Opportunity to train in one or more specialty programs, following a 3-month probationary review.

What We're Looking ForWe seek candidates with 1-2 years of post-secondary education in a related field, or equivalent work experience. An undergraduate degree in health science, Kinesiology, General Science, or Arts is considered an asset. Previous experience in customer service, preferably in retail or hospitality, is also beneficial. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, while proficiency in other languages is an added advantage.
