Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Specialist to join our team in Leduc, Alberta. As a key member of our repair shop, you will be responsible for the methodical teardown and documentation of rotating equipment received for repair.

Your primary focus will be on disassembling, cleaning, and inspecting equipment to determine the repair scope. You will work with a diverse range of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, and other high-energy units.

About the Role
  • Work safely and support colleagues in maintaining a safe working environment
  • Familiarize yourself with pre-job briefs and checklists before commencing work
  • Adhere to established routers and assembly procedures to ensure accurate and efficient equipment maintenance
  • Clean each component meticulously and document its condition
  • Inspect components and assemblies accurately, recording your findings clearly
  • Take photographs to document the condition and process
  • Communicate effectively with production planners and customers regarding component and pump conditions
  • Collaborate with operations engineers as needed
  • Utilize precision measuring and inspection tools to measure dimensions of pump components and assemblies
  • Acknowledge all related documentation associated with the disassembly process
  • Operate torches and liquid nitrogen safely and efficiently
  • Share concerns with peers and supervisors regarding job-related issues
