About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Capital Markets Risk Technology Solutions Architect to join our Market Risk team under Global Wholesale & Risk Technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving strategy to transform current market risk management platforms using new technologies and tools available that best support the business need.
You will analyze, design, and implement effective and quality solutions that resolve highly complex business problems and support business needs. You will work with diverse sets of technologies to implement new systems or enhancements of existing implementations, ensuring sound integration with surrounding components from an end-to-end operational perspective.
- Drive strategy to transform current market risk management platforms using new technologies and tools available that best support the business need.
- Analyze, design, and implement effective and quality solutions that resolve highly complex business problems and support business needs.
- Work with diverse sets of technologies to implement new systems or enhancements of existing implementations, ensuring sound integration with surrounding components from an end-to-end operational perspective.
- Write well-designed testing suites for end-to-end testing of business flows.
- Incorporate modern technologies and practices to reduce operational cost and improve security, availability, reliability of overall business systems.
- Effectively monitor performance and provide counsel and coaching, including recruiting new talent, building a high-performing team, and fostering an inclusive work environment.
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen business user and stakeholder relationships.
- Perform hands-on analysis and problem-solving as needed.
This role requires interaction with business and technology leadership, so effective communication commensurate with the audience and the ability to promote an idea and gain consensus is critical.
