About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Capital Markets Technology team as a Chief Architect. This role involves managing multiple development projects, directing and motivating staff to maximize their individual contribution and function effectively as a team.

You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with clients and business partners to develop, test, and implement application programs
  • Lead a team of developers in managing resource requirements and allocations, monitoring and improving quality, and ensuring 'best practice' development techniques
  • Become a code quality champion with hands-on experience in Software Design using SOLID Design principles, with at least 5 years of C#, Python, SQL, VBA (Excel) experience
  • Have excellent Front Office business knowledge in one or more asset classes (Equities, FX, Commodities, Fixed Income & Rates) and a solid understanding of financial instruments in derivatives, including pricing models, greeks and risk management concepts
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience leading a team of developers and a proven ability to coach and help develop other team members
  • A degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field
