Apparel Specialist Role

At Loblaw Companies Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Apparel Specialist to join our team. As an Apparel Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the consistent execution of merchandising and operational standards across our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement visual standards for merchandise presentation in assigned stores.
  • Collaborate with store colleagues to set directives and maintain consistent execution of format process and strategy.
  • Act as a liaison between Merchandising and Operations to ensure effective communication to stores.
  • Conduct store visits to analyze department performance and provide feedback to District, Store, and Department Managers.
  • Identify stores requiring priority assistance with merchandising and develop action plans.
  • Work with departments on customer feedback and requests for new products.
  • Ensure department budgets are met and targets for sales, margins, and inventory are achieved.
  • Provide direction and support for new store openings and refurbishments.
  • Conduct merchandising workshops for store colleagues to train on brand standards.

Requirements:

  • Operational experience as a specialist, preferably in the department responsible.
  • Retail management experience; experience working in multiple formats is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Acts with integrity and respect.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
