We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Housing Maintenance Technician to join our team at Pursuit Collection. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our staff accommodation buildings and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on staff housing facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues.
- Collaborate with the Housing Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans.
- Manage and coordinate with external contractors as needed to complete projects and repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and management, responding promptly to maintenance requests and concerns.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Valid Alberta driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights as required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use company software and systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
