About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team in Sechelt, BC. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our immunization campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize nursing knowledge and expertise of communicable disease control to promote and protect the optimal health, well-being, and safety of relevant populations.
  • Prepare and conduct clinics, provide related nursing care such as screening, health teaching, and immunization for recommended and required vaccinations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, educational resources, and other healthcare professionals/providers to achieve excellence in health services and education.
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Recent related experience working in public health, communicable disease control, vaccine-preventable diseases, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle for local area travel may be required.
