Mental Health Nurse

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide person-centered and recovery-oriented care to individuals with mental health and substance use issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide direct nursing care to clients, including medication administration and monitoring
- Collaborate with clients and their families to promote self-care and independence
- Participate in case conferences and meetings to coordinate care and ensure a coordinated approach to treatment
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- One year of recent, related experience providing treatment services to individuals with mental health and/or concurrent disorders
