About the Opportunity
  • Serve as the single point of contact for Project Co and liaise with the Client and representatives from each project segment in a collaborative process.
  • Ensure the project meets contractual requirements and resolve issues including managing schedules and budgets to achieve contract obligations.
  • Collaborate with the client, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and manage project interfaces, both design and construction interfaces.
  • Manage design and construction risks.
  • Execute Systems Engineering processes to deliver successful project outcomes, including requirements management, interface management, validation and verification, and configuration management.
Your Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the rail transit sector in a leadership role managing project systems components.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Completion of a diploma or degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Preference will be given to licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
What You Will Bring to the Team
  • Detailed knowledge of Progressive Design and Build models and other typical contractual structures for the delivery of rail and transit infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements governing passenger rail transit projects.
  • Experience with project management principles and practices sufficient to lead cross-functional teams and consultants, including budget and schedule control and planning work programs.
  • Expertise in trackwork systems, signaling and automatic train controls, communications systems, and propulsion power supply systems.
  • An extensive technical knowledge of systems design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning and application of Systems Engineering processes.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Aecon Concessions offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and professional development opportunities.
