Job Title: Nurse Clinician, Skin and Wound Care

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise in skin and wound care, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultation and clinical expertise in skin and wound care and prevention
  • Role model direct care skills to staff and students, and provide just-in-time education at the point of care
  • Develop and revise teaching plans based on identified learner needs, chart audits, patient outcomes, and introduction of new skills/procedures
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and consultations to ensure skin and wound care objectives/learning needs are met
  • Collaborate with other practice leaders to provide leadership, consultation, and performance support to clinical staff, employed student nurses, and students
Requirements:
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Three years of recent related clinical experience in skin and wound care, including one year of education and/or leadership experience
  • Completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area
