We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Clinician to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide clinical expertise in skin and wound care and prevention, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultation and clinical expertise in skin and wound care and prevention to achieve effective outcomes
- Role model direct care skills to staff and students, and provide just-in-time education at the point of care
- Develop and revise teaching plans based on identified learner needs, chart audits, patient outcomes, and introduction of new skills/procedures
- Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and consultations to ensure skin and wound care objectives/learning needs are met
- Collaborate with other practice leaders to provide leadership, consultation, and performance support to clinical staff, employed student nurses, and students
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Three years of recent related clinical experience in skin and wound care, including one year of education and/or leadership experience
- Completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area
As a Nurse Clinician at Fraser Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals, contribute to the development of evidence-informed clinical decision support tools/policies, and participate in research and special projects.
