We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Clinician to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our skin and wound care team, you will utilize your expertise to provide consultation and clinical leadership in evidence-informed practice related to skin and wound care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and consultation in skin and wound care, utilizing evidence-informed practice and collaborating with interprofessional teams.
- Role model direct patient care skills and provide just-in-time education to staff and students.
- Develop and revise teaching plans to meet learner needs, and deliver learner-centered education to individuals or groups.
- Collaborate with other practice leaders to provide leadership, consultation, and performance support to clinical staff.
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities, evaluating the effect of changes in practice and making recommendations for improvement.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Three years of recent related clinical experience in skin and wound care, including one year of education and/or leadership experience.
- Completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area.
