At Salish Trading Co Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and food service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy dining services environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen and food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet our service standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure our high standards are met.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor with Salish Trading Co Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic and challenging work setting.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and walk
