Municipal Engineering Graduate Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Community Infrastructure/Municipal Engineering Graduate to join our team in London, Ontario. As a key member of our infrastructure projects team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects to customers primarily within the municipal linear infrastructure sectors (water, wastewater, and stormwater), as well as the private land development sector.
Key Responsibilities- Support projects including sewer and watermain design/replacement/reconstruction, roadway and intersection improvements, site servicing design, potable water pumping, transmission, storage, and distribution systems, sanitary drainage and pumping, and client liaison and relationship management.
- Prepare documentation related to current or prospective projects, including correspondence, reports, proposals, expressions of interest, and construction specifications and cost estimates.
- Support Contract Administration duties, including contractor interaction, progress payment certificates, and convene progress site meetings.
- Communicate and work with other project team members in London and other regional offices to provide quality service to clients on projects of varying scope and complexity.
- Support new business development and liaise with and assist other departments and offices in the provision of design services to other clients, as applicable.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or other related field or equivalent.
- E.I.T. working towards a P.Eng designation in Ontario is preferred.
- Design experience in surface grading, water and sewer pipe networks, and detail design is an asset.
- Experience in or understanding of Stormwater Management procedures and design, transportation design/reconstruction projects, and land development or site plan preparation, studies, and detailed design is beneficial.
