About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Thunder Transport Solutions. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns for the company.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including budget variances and financial analysis.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
