Job Summary

Sask Sport is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our accounting service division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process financial transactions, including invoices, bank deposits, and cheques, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness, and comply with accounting standards and policies.
  • Communicate with clients to collect necessary information for transaction processing.
  • Maintain filing systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Report to the Accounting Services Supervisor on the effectiveness of current processes and policies.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting or equivalent education and/or training.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a role that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties required for this position.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Overtime work may be necessary during busy periods.
