Senior Civil Engineering Specialist

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineering Specialist to join our Minerals and Metals team in Vancouver, BC. This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for designing and developing mining and mineral projects worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop civil engineering projects for mining and mineral operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Develop and implement site development plans, including pipe and open channel hydraulics
- Conduct storm water management and runoff calculations
- Interpret and apply geotechnical design recommendations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering
- Eligibility to register or registration as a Professional Engineer with EGBC
- 15+ years of experience in civil engineering design for mining and energy projects
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and joining methods
- Excellent organizational, technical, and communication skills
- Competitive salary range: CDN $172,000 per year
