We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 1059945 Alberta Inc.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Order merchandise and authorize returns to maintain an efficient and effective inventory management system.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- 5-10 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Basic security clearance and bondability.
- Own transportation.
