About the Role:

CA001 Marsh Canada Limited is seeking a highly skilled Training and Quality Manager to lead the continued success of the Account Coordination training and onboarding. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and effective teaching and learning experiences, promoting employee growth, and enhancing the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees through effective training strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop effective online courses, modules, and training materials.
  • Develop clear learning objectives, outlines, storyboards, and scripts for online courses and modules.
  • Conduct needs assessments and oversee the design, development, and implementation of quality improvement frameworks.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on quality assurance matters, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and representing the organization in industry forums and working groups.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Facilitate instructor-led, face-to-face, and virtual soft skill trainings.
  • Review and integrate feedback from learning data to maintain and enhance the quality of the learning experience.
  • Provide ongoing reporting and insights into the learning effectiveness, compliance, and skill confirmation success rates.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to staff teams to enhance their skills and abilities in change management.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of training and quality activities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role in a learning and development environment, including instructional design methodologies, change management, learning technologies, facilitation, and project management.
  • Experience in operational quality assurance or a related role with similar responsibilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of learning and development, adult learning principles, learning management technology, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in instructional design, e-learning development, and web design/development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leveraging innovative learning technologies, including social, mobile, micro-learning, and gamification.
  • Proven experience with recording and editing video content is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an engaging personality to captivate learners.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working collaboratively and building inclusive communities.
  • Highly developed leadership skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and mentor employees.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work within ambiguity.
  • High attention to detail and execution excellence in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, balance conflicting tasks, and manage internal and external stakeholders.
