Job Title: Parts Technician

We are seeking a skilled Parts Technician to join our team at Western Star Trucks North. As a key member of our Parts department, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Process daily orders, receive and ship parts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering phone calls and responding to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless communication and support
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, including ordering and stocking parts
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as dollies and pallet jacks, to efficiently move parts around the warehouse
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to your supervisor or manager
Requirements:
  • Active member of the apprenticeship program
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a parts-related role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods
